Title: "JOURNEY OF LOVE"
“Journey of Love” depicts the 'emotion' of the Artist's newly adopted Granddaughter catching a last glimpse of her native country through an airplane window.
This image executed in Watercolor has been featured on the cover web page of an international non-profit organization. It has been accepted into several juried art exhibits and is an award winning painting.
“Nature’s Paintbrush” is a ‘stylistic’ rendering in Oil portraying the vibrant colors of fall foliage. The leaves have a three-dimensional appearance, taking the eye from corner to corner. This painting has been accepted into several juried art exhibitions and is a prize winner.

Title: "GREAT WALL AT BADALING"
“Great Wall at Badaling” is a charcoal drawing from a photo taken by the Artist while visiting China. The tower depicts the strenghth of the ancient structure which is one of the 'Great Wonders of the World'.
It was recently awarded a First Place with the juror commenting “This is a GREAT drawing”.
Title: "LOVELY REVEAL"
“Lovely Reveal” is an Oil painting of a white peony which was photographed when it was fully opened exposing the delicate pink center. The eye is drawn to the subtle color in the luminous shadows as it changes under different light. The subject has taken on a 'Life and Movement of It's Own'. It has been accepted into several exhibits winning numerous awards including; Best of Show, Best Floral and First Place.

Title: "NAIVETE’"
“Naïveté” is an example of the ‘artist’s license’ to incorporate her interpretation of a simple subject. She photographed a delicate pink rose and it evolved into a vibrant red rose. This painting is close to a true abstract considering it can be hung for viewing from any angle. It has been accepted into several exhibits.
Title: "FINDING TREASURES"
“Finding Treasures” captures the playfulness of two small girls seeking natural treasures from the ocean. A quick photo shot by the artist provided the reference for this delicate Watercolor painting. It recently earned an award in an art exhibition.
Title: "MY TURN"
“My Turn” rendered in oil exhibits the desire of the Artist's grandson to duplicate the actions of adults playing a favorite outdoor game. During a break by the adults the toddler scampers in to show his interpretation of the game.
Title: "PURPLE IRIS"
“Purple Iris” is a Watercolor painting exemplifying the beauty of one of nature’s many gifts. The delicate ruffles of the petals seem to 'flutter' before the eye.
